Security testing

Infrastructure security management and monitoring run 24/7. During development code is automatically scanned for industry standard OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities. Annually we engage an external penetration test company to test our application.

Encryption in transit

All systems are secured within an Azure Private Network, with a web application firewall to access the application. All networks and subnets are secured using network security groups, with communication using TLS 1.2 encryption as a minimum.

Encryption at rest

All data is encrypted at rest, leveraging 256bit AES transparent security and Azure decryption key security.

Data tenancy

Managed instances provide database and server level independence, which includes independent encryption of the server and databases.

Yes, Dayshape AI was designed with the highest standards of safety and security at its core. The platform was built from the ground up for the professional services industry, so takes AI governance and risk management seriously. We are always one step ahead of fast changing regulations. Dayshape AI is a proprietary solution built within the Dayshape product – meaning your data remains in the app and no third-party data is consumed. It uses combinatorial optimization rather than machine learning to optimize scheduling for firms and offers zero compromise when it comes to regulatory compliance.

How does Dayshape AI handle data safety and security?

Dayshape AI does not use third-party data. All data remains securely within the Dayshape platform. The model is not based on machine learning and does not retain or leverage data for future optimization. It also does not require training or retraining, which means it is ready for use immediately upon deployment. Like all our applications, the AI component is subject to rigorous security audits and penetration testing to maintain high security standards.

How does Dayshape AI ensure data privacy and transparency?

Dayshape AI is designed to be unbiased. The model has not been trained on any data, and its optimization engine uses suitability scoring that is agnostic to protected characteristics such as gender, age, and sexual orientation. Dayshape AI allows users to configure all suitability criteria according to their specific needs. The results provided by the optimization engine are clearly categorized to give users detailed feedback. The categories include trade-offs, great matches, and unassignable items, helping users to understand the decisions proposed by the tool. This transparency enables users to make accountable, informed decisions based on the feedback.

Is Dayshape AI compliant with regulatory standards?

Yes, Dayshape AI is fully compliant with relevant regulations. The EU AI Acts do not impact Dayshape since our product does not involve machine learning or generative AI. We ensure GDPR compliance by not using personally identifiable information (PII) in our AI data model. Dayshape scheduling is powered by optimization AI which does not learn from previous decisions, nor is it trained on data that could be biased, and is considered lower risk that machine learning and generative AI.In addition, our interface clearly indicates AI involvement, and decision-making is transparently explained to users.
