Edinburgh, 2nd June 2021  — Dayshape, an Edinburgh-based software company using AI technology to power professional services planning, has kicked off 2021 with strong growth.

Dayshape was ranked as the fastest-growing tech company in Scotland in Deloitte’s Fast 50 for two years in a row and this growth trajectory has continued into 2021. Since January of last year the company has gained key customers across Europe and North America, grown subscription revenue by 147% and hired 21 new team members.

Of the business growth, Chief Commercial Officer, Richard Cassidy said, We are delighted to be celebrating continued growth at Dayshape. We realise this has been a difficult period for many so our progress is testament to the value Dayshape brings to our customers. Growing interest from the US and APAC is opening up exciting new opportunities for us. Demand for automated scheduling and workforce optimisation is increasing internationally, especially with the introduction of more flexible working within professional services firms than ever before. We see their use of AI-driven technologies accelerating, and we will continue to drive innovation alongside them.”

Dayshape’s growth has also created a range of new job opportunities in Scotland’s tech hub. A number of senior key appointments have been made since the start of the year within technical and marketing teams. In addition, the company is currently recruiting for several Edinburgh-based vacancies within software engineering, to support the growing customer base and drive forward product development.

On the acquisition of new talent, Andrew Bone, co-founder and CEO added, “As we continue to grow, we recognise the need to invest in the right people and skills to propel us forward. As a values-driven company, we know filling skill-gaps is not enough, we need minds that reflect our values and can truly get behind our vision to improve people’s working lives. We are extremely proud of our team and the successes we have achieved together.”

To accommodate the expanding Dayshape team, the company has announced the upscaling of its headquarters to the largest office space within Edinburgh’s CodeBase. Home to over 90 companies, CodeBase is the UK’s largest technology incubator and one of the fastest growing in Europe.

Powered by an investment in people and culture, Dayshape is set to seize new growth opportunities in the global market.
