RSM Norway, with over 350 professionals from 10 offices throughout Norway, was previously using a mixture of spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook for scheduling as well as a local technology vendor, Visena, to support various aspects such as finance, timesheets, customer relations, and engagement budgeting. However, none of these tools has the functionality required to mature the firm's resource management.

With Dayshape, RSM Norway has complete visibility of resource capacity and availability (accounting for items such as holidays and training) through seamless integrations to the firm's existing tech stack. This provides the firm with all the necessary information in one place to make quick judgements on schedule changes, identify opportunities to take on more work, and make informed decisions about which work the firm takes on.
In addition, RSM Norway will benefit from Dayshape's two AI scheduling modes, Assist and Advise, to provide peace of mind that task allocation is optimized, based on who is best suited to working on a particular engagement. Such functionality allows RSM Norway to not only consider location, current skills, certifications, and work experience of resources when allocating work, but also work preferences, utilization rates, and whether the resource has already been given a task on a specific engagement.
Further, RSM Norway will experience the power of Dayshape's real-time engagement financials. With integrations to the firm's HR, finance, and timesheet software, Dayshape provides an accurate picture of in-flight financials against predetermined engagement budgets. Furthermore, if engagements go off track, automated alerts are sent to notify RSM Norway to proactively act on any risks to engagement performance such as budget overruns.
